Amidst the value creation of medium-sized companies!

Managing Director

Dr. Peter Artenberg

Dr. Peter Artenberg is Chairman of the Executive Board and Managing Partner. He has more than 20 years of industrial experience in leadership, integration, optimization and growth of medium-sized industrial groups within the D.A.CH. region.

Peter Artenberg shapes ARQET as an investing entrepreneur with a view to tapping the immense potentials of medium-sized companies in the D.A.CH. region. This guarantees an independent and long-term development of the portfolio companies. Based on this, the M&A strategy was developed with a clear focus on medium-sized “Industrial Champions“ along megatrends. This is the actual core of the acquisition and investment strategy.

The optional IPO of the holding company or the platforms enables the positive levers of the capital market to be made available to ARQET, its portfolio companies and its investors.

Peter Artenberg holds a Dr. rer. soc. oec. from the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration.

Peter Muhr

Peter Muhr is Co-Chairman of the Executive Board and Managing Partner. He has more than 35 years of industry experience, and was most recently CEO of a leading family-owned mid-sized industrial company for 13 years. His areas of expertise include leadership, value management, M&A and integration.

Peter Muhr and ARQET close the operational gap in medium-sized companies for succession planning between private equity and strategic investors. This results in access to highly attractive corporate acquisitions. In this way, Peter Muhr and ARQET ensure the independent and long-term development of the portfolio companies. The consistent implementation of environmental, social and governance (ESG) guidelines reduces costs as well as risks and increases the value of the company.

Peter Muhr holds a degree in business administration from the Otto-Friedrich-University of Bamberg.

Director Dealflow

Daniel Gärtner, MBA

Daniel Gärtner has accompanied Peter Artenberg for many years. For around 15 years, his focus has been on investment management and operational support for affiliates.

Growth investments and optimizations of medium-sized companies in the German-speaking countries formed his main field of activity. Besides his core areas of deal flow, transaction processing and IPO support, he was also successfully active as operational managing director in various affiliates.

Daniel Gärtner holds an MBA from the Alpen-Adria University Klagenfurt and the St. Gallen Business School.

A strong team.

Peter Artenberg brought additional experienced managing directors and experts to join the ARQET team.

This ensures that synergies between several healthy companies and even better performance will be achieved in the future.

Peter Artenberg has already placed his trust in them several times in his entrepreneurial past.

In addition to the Supervisory Board, an Industrial Advisory Board consisting of seasoned industry executives has been set up as an information and advisory body for the management company.
